Supporting Royal Papworth Hospital Charity
The Sepura team has donated £4,000 of staff donations to the Royal Papworth Charity this Christmas and is looking forward to raising further funds for the charity in 2023.
The £4,000, gathered from social and fundraising events held during the year, will support the lifesaving work and research Royal Papworth Hospital does in its role as a world leader in heart and lung medicine.
The charity was nominated and chosen by Sepura staff through a vote, following the recent experience of several team members with the hospital, either personally or with friends and family.
"We are very pleased over recent years to have raised over £20,000 for local charities. Several of our staff have had recent close contact with Royal Papworth Hospital, so it seemed especially appropriate to support them in 2022 and into 2023."

Sepura has decided to continue supporting Royal Papworth Charity into 2023 and we already have several events lined up, including gaming nights, karting days, and a team expedition to complete the Yorkshire Peaks Challenge.
Eleanor Speed, Community Fundraiser, shared with us how the donation would support the hospital:
“Thank you to the staff at Sepura for their generous donation. Every pound we raise in fundraising goes to help support our patients, staff, and the vital work we do at Royal Papworth. Sepura’s donation for 2022 will help support world-leading services, be it innovative research into the treatment of cardiothoracic diseases, supporting the development and well-being of our staff or providing specialist equipment to help patients throughout their recovery."
