STP Antennas
The STP product range is available with a wide range of antennas. These are selected depending on the operational frequency band, the carrying position of the hand-portable and even the level of RF coverage of the network.
The extended compressed helical and the Quarter wave whip antenna have similar performance characteristics, both offer a higher gain and improve coverage when compared to the compressed helical and can be used when network coverage is restricted.
Antennas are colour coded to indicate frequency band.
Nominal gain figures shown in the table are measured in free space at resonance. These figures will degrade when used close to the body.
