Team Sepura takes part in the 3 Peaks Challenge in support of East Anglia's Children's Hospices

11th June 2014 - Last week-end 20 members of Sepura staff embarked on the great adventure of the 3 Peaks Challenge. The competitive aim of the well-known challenge is to walk up and down the highest peaks in Scotland, Wales and England within 24 hours.
Team Sepura's humanitarian objective of the initiative was to
raise money for East Anglia Children's Hospices EACH , the charity which
supports children, young people and their families with the
challenges faced by having a life-threatening condition.
Mark Sutton, one of the three organisers of the team event,
commented: "It was a fantastic team effort with 20 walkers and
three drivers who made it all possible and what an amazing
experience! Everyone made it up at least one peak and 9 people did
all three within 24 hours. Despite Ben Nevis' unfriendly weather,
sleep deprivation and aching limbs, we all really enjoyed taking
part in the challenge.
We chose EACH because what they do
strikes a deep chord with all of us, they are an amazing local
charity that we know, respect and support and we're all very
grateful to all our colleagues, friends and families for their
generous donations".
It's the first time that such a large group of Sepura colleagues
has taken part in an event of this type. We all hope the first of
many! Well done to everyone involved in the 3 Peaks
Challenge!
