Sepura announces the acquisition of Portalify OY

Sepura announces today the acquisition of Portalify OY ("Portalify"), the Helsinki-based applications developer.

Portalify provides end-to-end solutions for mobile working via a suite of software applications which increase the safety, productivity and efficiency of professional mobile radio users, regardless of the communications standard in use by the customer. Its existing portfolio includes task management, asset location, image messaging and database query applications.

Portalify's technology is proven, robust and possesses market leading USPs. Its products, which are primarily deployed within the public safety sector in Western Europe, are highly customisable. In addition, as an established Sepura's Solutions Partner of several years standing, Portalify has a good knowledge of Sepura's customers, their requirements, and the capabilities of TETRA.

All of the above will undoubtedly facilitate a seamless and smooth integration into Sepura's customers' systems and enable the promotion of Portalify's applications through Sepura's comprehensive worldwide routes to market.

With the acquisition of Sepura Systems in May 2012 Sepura made a significant step towards achieving its goal of becoming a leading provider of critical communications solutions, by combining its established TETRA terminal portfolio with an infrastructure supplier. With Portalify's acquisition Sepura enhances its applications portfolio and further strengthens its full solution offering to the market.
