CC Europe will provide an unrivalled opportunity for all those involved in the sector to come together in the UK to network, learn and discuss everything to do with Critical Communications and Public Safety Solutions.
Sepura will be demonstrating their market leading terminals and applications.
Join Sepura's critical communications experts in the following sessions:
Tuesday 12th March - 2.30 - 3.00pm
TETRA in Utilities: Protecting Infrastructure and Enhancing Operations; Hannu Aronsson, CTO, Portalify
Offshore wind farms are hazardous environments, with many challenges to effective communication, including difficult geography, remote locations and harsh weather conditions. Vissim Renewables worked with Sepura to develop a communications network for wind farms and similar offshore locations that could enhance operations by providing construction and maintenance staff with the most effective solution for day-to-day efficiency and protection during emergencies.
Products were chosen to support operations in specific salt water environments, while also providing GPS positioning and indoor location solutions. Staff safety and resource management are supported with applications that provide accurate and real time information to control room staff.
Wednesday 13th March - 10.15 - 10.45am
Critical Communications Solutions at International Hub Airports; Dawn Griffiths, Business Development Manager, Sepura
Moving passengers quickly, efficiently and safely is a daily challenge. Reliable, secure communications is essential and, as accountability for timeliness, staff safety and compliance with ever-more stringent regulations increases, asset monitoring becomes an increasingly important part of daily operations. In addition to this, the communication network is an essential part of responding to emergency situations whether natural, accidental or terrorist related.
This presentation will cover how an integrated voice and data solution in one of the world’s major airports increased the accountability and operational efficiency of the airport, while also helping to assist with automating essential processes and maintaining operational efficiency
Wednesday 13th March- 11.00 - 11.45am
Panel Discussion: TCCA Driving Next Generation Critical Communications
Hannu Aronsson, Chair & Head of Applications Technology, TCCA Applications Working Group & Portalify/Sepura will be joining the panel.
Broadband is on the agenda of most organisations running mission-critical communications services. With that in mind, this panel discussion will provide attendees with an update on both the latest advances in this area, and the work of TCCA’s Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG). The panellists will discuss new use cases that can be enabled by broadband, alongside different deployment models being considered across the world. The session will also look at the current status of mission-critical features and the 3GPP standardisation process.
Technological factors which have to be considered when procuring and deploying broadband infrastructure and terminals will also be examined. Other subjects include how interoperability between mission-critical broadband and legacy networks can be achieved, and the evolution path from LTE to 5G.
