Sepura TETRA radio hand portables have been selected once again for military use in South Korea.
The award winning SRP2000 will soon be in the hands of officers at the Korea Combat Training Centre in the city of Inje. This important customer win makes Sepura one of the largest TETRA radio suppliers to the Military in South Korea.
The SRP2000's strong competitive advantage derives from its excellent User Interface (UI), soft keys programmability and the ability to quickly change talk groups.
Its toughness and ergonomic design make it ideal for military use. The SRP2000 can operate successfully under harsh battlefield conditions caused by dust, heat and humidity.
The SRP2000 units supplied under this contract will operate at the 368 MHz frequency specifically required by the KCTC, yet another example of Sepura's flexibility in meeting customers' requirements.
Jens Thostrup, International Sales Director of Sepura, said: "We're proud of our recurring success with the military in South Korea. Our status as the leading supplier of TETRA terminals to the Armed Forces has now become unquestionable."
