Description of Job (Main responsibilities and tasks)
With the anticipated TETRA growth in China over the next few years we now require major business development effort with resource based in Country. China has signficant opportunity now in vertical markets of public safety, military and airport, metro and industrial.
We require an additional Business Development Manager who will ideally concentrate on supporting Southern China, Hong Kong and Macau and be preferably based in Guangdon Province.
His/her main responsibilities will be:-
- Business Development of mainland China and regions (plus Hong Kong).
- Account Management and expansion of existing Channel Partners.
- New partner identification, establishment and training to ensure geographic and vertical market reach.
- Liaison/promotion with key industry, regulatory and Government consultants on Tetra technology benefits.
Description of Person (Main skills, personal attributes):
Technical Skills (Essential):
- Experienced customer facing account/project management and commercial sales.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect distribution.
- Technicall or strong wireless industry background.
- Verbal written communications in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Background in PMR or wireless technologies in the same key vertical markets in China preferred (experience in Hong Kong and advantage)
- Experience in preparing and managing major project bids.
- Excellent time management skills and experience in co-ordinating engineering support resources.
Personal Attributes (Essential):
- Outgoing character capable of working at all levels with partner and customer organisations including commercial, technical and aftersales support.
- Achieve recognition and credibility within senior executive levels of major customers and prospects.
